Awana

Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:15pm

Come and join us for the Awana Grand Prix!!

Build Day: February 8th, Race Day: February 22nd

The Awana Grand Prix is a yearly event where families can build, paint, and race cars; win prizes based on speed and design; and most importantly, build memories as a family.

The Grand Prix Racing Day event is free to attend. You do not have to be an Awana student to participate!

All ages are welcome to participate! We will separate cars into 5 categories: Cubbies (3s-5s), Sparks (K-2nd), T&T (3rd-5th), Older Siblings/teens, Adults/Leaders!

If you want to race in the Grand Prix, register now and purchase a car kit and then join us at Car Building Day on February 8th to pick up your car and build it with your friends!

What is Awana?

Our weekly Awana Club runs from September to May every year. Our program aims to reach kids and their families with the Gospel by developing leaders and discipling kids to walk with Christ for life through teaching core Biblical truths and Bible memorization skills.

  • Check in for Awana is at the Kids Building!

  • Yes! Wearing their vest/jersey is a great way to build camaraderie & teamwork within students at Awana. It helps them to remember they are part of something greater than themselves and we are all working together to know Christ better!

  • Each week kids should wear their vest/jersey, and clothes/shoes that they can run around in!

  • Each child only receives one handbook to use throughout the entire year. If you lose your handbook or would like to have an extra copy to keep at club, you can purchase one from the Awana Online Store.

  • Kids should bring their bible, their handbook, and a reusable water bottle. Some kids like to bring a tote-bag to carry their things. We sell Vintage Kids Tote-Bags on Sunday mornings at both our 9am and 11am gatherings or you can buy an Awana tote bag on the Awana online store.

  • There are many opportunities to get involved with Awana! You could be a check in host, on the security team, a small group leader/helper, or even help out prepping materials during the week! Contact Sarah for more info!
