Our Leadership

Amy has been part of the VFC community for many years and has served in various ministries.

Amy hails from St. Louis, Missouri. She met her husband, Darryl, at UCSC (go Banana Slugs)! They have been married since 2001 and have two adult children currently forging their way through college. She is a former competitive gymnast and is currently a preschool gymnastics teacher at Junebug’s Gym (there’s nothing quite like teaching 3 year olds how to flip and tumble).

She felt like VFC home the very first time she stepped on campus, telling Darryl in the car, "this is our church." They both love Vintage as the people here are thoughtful, intellectual followers of Jesus. Amy is passionate about working with teens and has been faithfully serving in Youth Ministry for quite some time. She feels that culturally, teens are seen as problematic, but in reality they are quite delightful -- soooo smart and sharp and funny!

On any given day, in her spare time, you can find her enjoying books, music, playing the piano, and watching movies. She also loves any food you can eat with a spoon (ie cereal, soup, ice cream...)!
